NOTES
OB-02 has produced no liquefaction events in the period of registry monitoring. Earlier provenance does not document any events either, though earlier provenance is limited. The holder inherited the fragment from an academic institution that had acquired it as a geological specimen in the mid-twentieth century. The institution's records describe it as "anomalous basaltic material, origin unknown." The mass discrepancy is noted in their records. It is not explained.
The Lapidary has attempted to induce a liquefaction event in OB-02 on three occasions using the frequency conditions documented in signal-research/FREQUENCY-NOTES.md. No event occurred. OB-02 did not respond. The Lapidary is uncertain whether OB-02 is incapable of the liquid state or whether the trigger condition has not been found.
During OB-07's fourth liquefaction event (FIELD-REPORT-0089), OB-02's temperature dropped 1.1°C. Duration of temperature change matched duration of OB-07 event exactly. This is the only documented response from OB-02.
