CROSS-FRAGMENT OBSERVATIONS
OB-07 produces the strongest and most consistent cross-fragment responses of any registered fragment. During each of OB-07's liquefaction events, the following was observed in other registered fragments:
- OB-01: Temperature drop 1.4°C–2.3°C (increasing with each successive event)
- OB-02: Temperature drop 1.1°C (Event 4 only — no response to Events 1–3)
- OB-03: Temperature drop 0.6°C–0.8°C
- OB-05: Temperature drop 1.9°C–3.7°C (most responsive non-Class I fragment)
- OB-06: No measurable response (consistent across all four events)
The Lapidary notes that OB-06 — the fragment with the highest mass-to-volume ratio — has never responded to another fragment's event. The Lapidary does not have a hypothesis for this.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The Lapidary's primary research focus is OB-07. This is the result of: its event frequency (highest in the registry), the depth properties of its liquid state (which exceed any other documented event), the quality of the field record (despite gaps), and the duration of Event 4 (which the Lapidary has not replicated or explained).
There is a fifth reason the Lapidary does not include in the formal case file. The fifth reason is in FIELD-REPORT-0089, in the section the Lapidary representative filed after returning from the Event 4 monitoring visit. The Lapidary has not determined how to categorise what is described in that section. It is in the report. The report is in this repository.
